Major and Midsize Cities

For each state and union territory, all cities and agglomerations exceeding 20,000 inhabitants (census 1991 & 2001; major cities and agglomerations also census 2011).

Administrative Division

The population of the states, union territories and districts (census 1991, 2001 & 2011; in the boundaries of 2011; uses Google Maps).

Cities, Towns and Outgrowth Wards

For each state and union territory, all urban entities (i.e. cities, towns and wards in outgrowths) with 5,000 inhabitants or more (census 1991 & 2001; uses Google Maps).
